About The Event

"Descent to Hell" is an incredible journey that takes place, through a seamless interaction, with the suggestions of visual video, narrating voice, contemporary dance choreography and a live from the Inferno Opera Rock tracklist. by Francesco Maria Gallo.

A real quatern of artistic expressions different from each other, four coordinates that make the four-dimensional show,

transported by a hypersphere between one leap and the other in the circles of Hell!

"... but what you cannot have understood, that is, how cruel my death was, you will hear, and you will know if it offended me ..."

The show full of counterpoints and quotes, sees the alternation of introspective scenes in which the damned souls are forced to face the deep pitfalls of working on the self. The show aims to represent the psychological mirror in which every choice is condemned to be reflected. A mirror that makes clear and visible the foolishness of man over man, of children over children, a human nature that is often not compassionate and merciless, which continues to reiterate its horrors over time.

"My soul, out of disdainful taste, believing in dying to flee disdain, made me unjust against me just"

With "Descent to Hell", produced and distributed by Michela Merighi Management, the singer-songwriter Francesco Maria Gallo overwrites his own free interpretation of the songs and characters chosen, who here tell their own truth. All reworked in a rock key with the contribution of great artists such as Ricky Portera (guitar), Pier Mingotti (bass), Stefano "Perez" Peretto (drums), Pietro Posani (guitar), Simona Rae (backing vocals and vocals in "Francesca ") And Renato Droghetti (keyboards and artistic producer), Enrico Evangelisti (feat of Inferno in the cd) and Manuel Auteri (feat of Inferno in the live)

Synopsis Inferno Opera Rock

“Inferno Opera Rock” was born from an idea of Francesco Maria Gallo, interpreter and author of the music and lyrics based on a selection of 11 songs from Dante Alighieri's Inferno, on the 700th anniversary of his death.

It is an intimate florilege, in which the singer-songwriter and the author of the Rock Opera - accepting the opening piece, the "Selva Oscura" which brings back the original verses of Dante's preface - overwrites his own free interpretation of the chosen songs, through the music, combined with an original writing around the suggestions and the protagonists of the songs themselves.

Synopsis Inferno Opera Rock

We are then witnessing the re-elaboration of one's own Inferno, redesigned according to a personal point of view, as if to identify another self of Rimbaudian derivation which, from time to time, recomposes the various figures, captured in the most human aspect - The giant of Ulysses , Pier's Silence, Count Ugolino - to anchor the mythical descent into the underworld to an almost interior journey. In the balance between a lucid analysis of defeat - desolation - and the hope of a heartfelt way out of one's limits. For Francesco Maria the damned is also the cosmic human in search of a sort of redemption, or a personal counterpoint.
